Thank You for visiting the IHC Hall Rental web page! The Irish Heritage Center welcomes everyone in need of a hall rental to make an appointment to see our three beautiful halls with a stone "Castle look-alike" exterior, a scenic water fountain out front of our main entrance, with plenty of parking on 23 acres of land. It's also important to note that we are conveniently located less than five minutes north of I-90's Route 83 exit and within one exit of several hotels and a variety of restaurants for your out of town guests. See the left panel directory to view a street map of the area. We are located at 726 Avon Belden Road in Avon Lake, Ohio 44012. Avon Lake is on the east edge of Lorain County and shares the border of Cuyahoga County. The IHC phone # is 440-933-3413. To see our halls and get more information, call Ahern Catering at 440-779-4200. Ahern Catering is our hall rental representative. The Briscoe Hall The Briscoe Hall is named after the former Lord Mayor of Dublin, Ireland who was the guest of honor at our grand opening celebration in the early 1990's. The hall holds between 200 and 500 guests comfortably. It has a raised stage in front of a large dance floor, an easy to access bar area, a drop off area at the canopy protected front entrance, and much more. The Burke Hall The Burke Hall was named after one of our principle founders and long time President of the IHC, Sean Burke. The Burke Hall was built as an addition to the original building in 1999. It holds between 100 and 250 guests comfortably. This hall has a very high ceiling to add to its elegant look. It has a raised stage in front of a dance floor, a large bar area, it's own canopy protected entrance off the side of the building, a drop off area at the entrance, and more. The Cooney Room The Patrick J. Cooney Room & Memorial Library was named after one of the IHC's principle founders and long time club officer. This room holds up to 50 sit-down guests comfortably with room for food and beverage tables. With a DJ, the room would hold approximately 30 guests. This room is primarily used for bridal and baby showers, small intimate wedding gatherings, anniversary parties, birthday celebrations, wedding rehearsal dinners, private dinners for special occasions, small reunions, office parties, holiday parties, business meetings, seminars and training sessions, and almost any kind of celebration you can think of. Serving Food in the Halls After several years using a variety of caterers on the premise, the IHC selected Ahern Catering as the exclusive caterer because of their consistent quality in food preparation, presentation and excellent customer feedback from the thousands of guests that visit the IHC each year. As you might guess, the satisfaction of guests regarding the meal at an event, reflects equally on the hall and its management. For this reason, to ensure a high level of satisfaction for our guests, the IHC has retained Ahern Catering on an exclusive contract as the caterer/food service provider in all areas of The Irish Heritage Center. Ahern Catering also represents the Irish Heritage Center in showing and booking the hall for all events where food will be provided. |
